Spring Fever

With no snow on the ground, I've been itching to get outside and work in the yard, and get my pots planted with flowers.  I've got lots to do, since the previous owners didn't do stuff quite right.  I have three Russian olive trees that are going to come out this spring, if you don't know what they are, they are ugly messy trees with 3-4" thorns on them. Not fun to have around with kids. Plus I want a garden and they are in the way.  I also want to get my plant and flower beds all lined out so i can figure out what plants I want.  I really want to do my front yard, but with all the deer that like to come hang out at my house, i'm a little wary of putting anything expensive out there.  I need to find something to keep them away.  I want to put a Hakuro Nishiki Willow in my front yard as a focal tree, we will see how it goes.
This is basically the tree i want, but you can't see the full color, it is pink and white on the new growth and green undergrowth.

Anyways, i've got lots of ideas, and no weather to go out and to them. So hopefully when the weather gets better, i'll be able to post some pictures of my yard and my flower pots.
